For filmmakers during the event
The use of Artificial Intelligence is not permitted.
Any style of filming is welcome. Animation, textures, and experimental films are all welcome and encouraged.
Each participating team is invited to have a representative at the official Kickoff Event at 11:45 on Friday August 21st. At the Kickoff, each team will receive its filmmaking assignments. Teams not present at the kickoff will receive their assignments via phone call and email shortly after the in-person kickoff event. The Kickoff Event will be held at Boone & Crockett’s patio
The film must use all assignments given at the kickoff. Each team will be assigned 1 genre from a random drawing. The film may fall under other genres, so long as the assigned genre is present and obvious in the film. Several other various assignments will be given to the filmmakers at the kickoff event. The film must be submitted no later than midnight on Sunday August 23rd.
The film file should be submitted in a 3840 x 2160 (4k 16:9) mp4 export via google drive link.
You may acquire the following in advance; crew, cast, equipment, locations, costuming. All cast and crew must be volunteers.
Team’s must be registered no later than the kickoff. Registration for teams can be found via the REGISTER NOW button at the top of the Coop60.com website.
The total run time of each film must not exceed 10 minutes, and must be no shorter than 3 minutes
Each team will be given 4 tickets to the screening on Sunday August 30th. Any additional tickets must be purchased.
Cast and Crew must be credited. Credits do not count to the run time of the film, and must be 60 seconds maximum. Please credit any music used
The Coop 60 committee reserves its right to disqualify teams at their discretion for teams which are non-compliant in the rules. Upon disqualification, partial refunds for the entry fee will be issued.
All paperwork including releases found on the Coop60.com website must be submitted by Thursday August 27th.
